The score
Olivier Derivière wrote it, as he wrote both games before it. What is documented about this one is that the move to Crete was treated as a reason to change the music rather than transpose it — and that the vocals are sung in Cypriot Greek.

Why Crete needed a new sound
The two earlier scores belong to a plague in medieval France. This one moves to Crete, and Olivier has said the setting called for a new musical approach. Writing the words in French and having them sung in Cypriot Greek is the most concrete trace of that decision in the finished score.
