PC specs / Console performance
What each console actually renders
PS5, PS5 Pro and Series X each offer a 30 fps quality mode and a 60 fps performance mode. These are the numbers underneath those two labels — measured from the running game rather than taken from a store page.

PS5 / Series X
| Mode | Renders at | Presented as |
|---|---|---|
| 30 fps quality | 1440p | upscaled to 4K |
| 60 fps performance | 1080p | upscaled to 1440p |
PS5 Pro
| Mode | Renders at | Presented as |
|---|---|---|
| 30 fps | 3200×1800 | PSSR/TAA to 2160p |
| 40 fps | 2560×1440 | PSSR/TAA to 2160p |
| 60 fps | 2240×1260 | PSSR/TAA to 1440p |
Series S

Reading the trade
On a base PS5 or Series X the choice is 1440p at 30 or 1080p at 60. The resolution drop is real, and so are small reductions in draw distance and how often distant characters animate — but for a game built on parry timing, the extra fluidity is usually the better half of that trade.
Series S is the outlier: it renders at 1080p with no upscaling at all, and offers 30 or 40 fps rather than a 60 fps option.
